KLM warns: Arrive early

KLM warns: Arrive early
KLM is to increase its Cape Town flights from 11 July 11.

KLM is warning agents and passengers that the security queues at Schiphol are extremely long and passengers travelling to South Africa should arrive at the airport at least four hours before departure time.

The airline said persistent security queues had meant it had resorted to reducing the sales on flights due to persistent security problems at the airport. This action was taken to guarantee seats for customers in case they needed to be rebooked due to the chaos at the airport.

KLM is to increase its Cape Town flights from 11 July 11. The year-round flights, currently operating six days a week, will increase to daily with effect from that date.

More flights will be scheduled on the route from the beginning of November 2022, when KLM will begin operating 10 flights a week to the Mother City.
